At your smaller branches and outlets, use the same PC for the ENPAQ Base OS, and a virtual machine that runs your OS and Application Software. In addition to the lower cost of ownership, this gives you unmatched control and manageability of the usually unruly and uncontrolled client OS. Do you need to remotely reinstall the complete OS, drivers, and applications? With the ENPAQ you can do just that - in under fifteen minutes!

Unlimited Scalability

Proprietary hardware belongs to the 1990s. Today, with network interfaces standardizing on RJ-45, and with commodity computing following and even exceeding Moore's law, you don't need proprietary hardware for networking anymore. With a choice of vendors, and a wide variety of hardware options to choose from, you can pick the scale at which you operate, without letting proprietary hardware shackle you down. Choose from a single-core P4, to dual quad-core Xeons or Opteron, or soon eight-core Intel and AMD processors. No longer will your IDS/IPS, encryption, or anti-virus feel a lack of power. Scale the hardware at each location as you want to - single processor at small branches, dual-core at regional offices with a hundred users, and quad-core at your corporate office with a thousand users - it's all up to you!

Flexible, reliable, WAN Agnostic connectivity

When your outlets or branches have to be rolled out across multiple locations, you start running into "Network Feasibility" issues with MPLS and leased-lines. Providers which service one area may not have reach in other areas, or plans and bandwidth available may be different. The ENPAQ solves this problem by taking any network connection and using site-to-site VPN to provide an overlay network. The ENPAQ also provides failover between any combination of WAN connections - VSAT, MPLS, Leased-line, ADSL, Cable-modem, Wifi, WiMax, CDMA, 3G, ISDN or even Dialup. For example, our broking customers like Anand Rathi, use VSAT as primary and Broadband as secondary. In retail, RPG Spencer's uses Broadband as primary, and a CDMA modem as emergency backup. A software firm, Omnesys, uses a leased-line primary with ISDN backup. Whatever WAN connection you can get, the ENPAQ guarantees secure, reliable connectivity to your HQ.

Secure Networking (Including WiFi Security)

Network Security is designed into every facet of the ENPAQ. With a comprehensive and powerful firewall, zone-based policies and rules, timed rules, and much more, the ENPAQ gives your network the security it needs. While other firewalls also have the same features, security without usability is no security at all! At Elina, we realized this and have worked to make configuring and tuning network security features to be as simple as possible - letting you stay in control of your security configuration at all times. The ENPAQ also has IDS, Gateway AV/AS for mail, and Gateway AV for Web downloads, covering all angles of attack.

With the proliferation of Wifi, there is an additional area of vulnerability that needs to be addressed. The ENPAQ supports walled-garden Wifi, where users must enter a username and password to gain access to the network, but don't need to change any configuration on their laptop. The ENPAQ also has a complete RADIUS server, enabling access points with WPA2 to authenticate against it. Authentication can be configured to any backend, Active Directory, LDAP, or even use the ENPAQ's internal user management.

The ENPAQ has a great set of monitoring and manageability functions to help your team fix a problem proactively, before users are affected. The ENPAQ can monitor PCs, servers, printer, routers, switches, and any other devices which can be reached through the network. You get instant SMS and Email alerts on any failures, along with comprehensive summary emails. Use the network link monitoring to verify SLAs with your service providers. With IT Asset Management, the ENPAQ maintains the software and hardware of every computer on your network. Any changes in the software or hardware trigger an email alert to the administrator. The ENPAQ keeps your IT team productive, not just busy fixing routine problems.
