Elina Networks, a provider of networking solutions, today announced that Anand Rathi Financial Services (AR), one of India's fastest growing full-service securities firm with a presence in more than 350 locations, is the company's most recent customer win. AR is using Elina's ENPAQ Business Gateway to create a networked environment for its business critical applications.
Elina Networks has deployed ENPAQ Business Gateway solution at AR headquarter and data centers and is in the process of completing the roll out all its branch office locations in India. These gateways will be responsible for all data network connectivity providing routing, firewall, security, link failover, LAN segregation and virtual private network (VPN) functionality to connect AR's key applications. AR will also use the ENPAQ Business Gateways to connect more than 350 remote business locations via a VSAT/LL with failover on VPN-over-broadband to provide connectivity to its headquarter and data centers. Using the solution at each remote branch location, AR will be able to guarantee seamless networking services to more than 4500 staff at all times. One of the key reasons AR selected Elina Networks was the complete remote management offered by ENPAQ Business Gateways' using its distributed management architecture, allowing total control and central administration of the gateways for all operations, including software and feature upgrades. "Elina has simplified network deployment and management for us. With an AR customized CD to load Elina software, cutting over to the Elina solution is a breeze. They include unified networking, security, and monitoring functionality on a completely remotely manageable platform. By unifying branch services, customers like AR can improve network reliability and significantly reduce branch operating costs, while responding more quickly to problems and performing upgrades remotely.
