While at IISc, he co-invented the Simputer, was awarded the Dewang Mehta Award for Innovation in IT, and pioneered the faculty entrepreneurship activity at IISc, which has since catalyzed similar activity in IITs and other educational institutes in India. Most recently Prakash has been with Rambus Inc. as the head of their india operations. Prior to joining Rambus, Prakash was vice president of the IP business unit at GDA Technologies, a leading EDS and SIP company. He worked at Cadence Design Systems and Cypress Semiconductor before co-founding GDA Technologies in 1996. Prakash holds a master's degree in microelectronics from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur.

Manish Gangey
Manish co-founded Elina Networks.
Most recently, Manish was a consultant to Reliance Infocomm evaluating
last mile technologies for it's triple-play roll out plans. Prior to that, as the Group Director for access and edge optical networking products, he was a key member of Tejas Networks core team. Prior to Tejas, he held senior engineering management positionat Synopsys's Professional Service Group and led several chip design projects for its customers in Taiwan, France, Germany and US. He began his career at Bhabha Atomic Research Center.

Vivek Shenoy Vivek co-founded Elina Networks and is responsible for driving technology direction for Elina.

Vivek most recently consulted to Reliance Infocomm on network and devices architectures Before that, Vivek was the chief architect for Tejas Network's entire SONET/SDH line of products where he drove product specifications, architecture and implementation strategies. He designed complex SDH and ATM chip verification environment tools for Synopsys during his tenure at France and Bangalore. Vivek started his career at India's best telecom R&D facility, C-DoT and designed timing
synchronization products for telecom networks. |
